This policy explains how Growthbridge Consulting ("we", "us") handles information when you use the Steal an Egg website, including the website when displayed inside our Android app. The Android app's native features, such as push notifications and native analytics, are also covered by the Android app privacy policy.
1. Information used to provide the website
You can browse and play without creating a website account. Requests to our servers and hosting providers may contain an IP address, browser and device information, the requested address, timestamps, and technical error information. These records help deliver pages, protect the service, investigate failures, and understand aggregate service use.
We may use a random session identifier and request or app-launch identifiers to investigate whether a page loaded successfully and how the app opens the website. These identifiers are pseudonymous technical identifiers; they are not your name or email address. Server logs may still contain information, such as an IP address, that can identify or relate to a person.
2. Browser storage and preferences
The website uses cookies and browser storage for session operation, security, play-time totals, and rating preferences. For example, browser storage can remember that you have already responded to a rating prompt. These records are specific to a browser or device and may be lost when storage is cleared.
A service worker may cache static files to improve repeat visits and provide an offline fallback. Page content and third-party games still require an internet connection. You can remove website data and the installed website through your browser's settings.
3. Analytics
When enabled, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, pages opened, selected games, game-frame loading and errors, time spent, rating actions, and advertising interactions. Analytics may collect identifiers, device and browser details, approximate location derived from an IP address, and interaction information. Loading an embedded frame does not necessarily mean the underlying game has finished loading.

4. Advertising
When enabled, we use Google Ad Manager and advertising partners to show ads, measure delivery and viewability, limit repetition, and detect invalid activity. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage, advertising identifiers where available, IP addresses, and device information. Depending on your choices and applicable law, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Non-personalized ads may still use storage for functions such as frequency limits, reporting, and fraud prevention.
Where a consent or privacy-choice message is presented, use that message to manage your choices. You can also use Google My Ad Center and your browser or device privacy settings. Browser controls may not disable every form of advertising or data processing. Contact us if you need help exercising a privacy right.
5. Embedded games and external services
Games are embedded from Playhop and may be operated by other developers. Opening a game connects your browser to those services. They may process device and network information, store game progress, provide advertising or purchases, and collect their own analytics under their policies. We do not control all data collection inside an external game.
Please review the notices shown inside each game and the Playhop Privacy Policy. Links to other websites and Google Play are governed by the policies of those services.
6. Why information is used and who receives it
We use information to operate and secure the website, provide requested features, troubleshoot problems, measure use, and support advertising. Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing may rely on providing a requested service, legitimate interests, consent, or a legal obligation. We request consent where required; you may withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Information may be processed by hosting and security providers, Google and its advertising partners, external game providers, and professional advisers where necessary. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. Advertising data sharing may constitute a sale or sharing under some privacy laws; applicable choices and rights depend on your location.
7. Retention, security, and international processing
We retain information for the time needed for its purpose, including security investigations and legal obligations. Browser preferences generally remain until you clear website data or the website replaces them. Analytics and third-party services apply their configured or published retention periods. Information may be processed outside your country, with safeguards required by applicable law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service or storage method is completely secure.
8. Children and your rights
The service is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. If local law requires a higher age for independent consent, a parent or guardian should assist. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain advertising disclosures; and complain to a privacy regulator. We may need information to verify a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
